WINEMAKING NOTES
The parcel of fruit for this wine was sourced from Karridale at the southern end of the Margaret River region. Thislocation was selected for its cooler, longer growing season to ensure fruit that maintains its varietal characters and delivers structure and depth of palate. This is the first pressings portion of our best Cabernet Sauvignon block and shows the power and intensity that this variety can deliver. 18 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Dark opulent crimson hues with a bouquet of ripe berry fruit with notes of liquorice and mint. Rich textural tannins run the length of a seamless palate. Delivers deep ripe blackberry fruit with a hint of bitter chocolate.
