Flametree Embers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2011
The primary difference between the Embers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and the Flametree Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is obvious; the ratio of Semillon compared to Sauvignon Blanc is, 70:30 in the Embers and 30:70 in the Flametree. The secondary difference is one of style, the 2011 Embers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is riper and more fruit driven than the finer and more structured 2011 Flametree Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. Embers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is tank fermented and held on yeast lees for greater texture.
Fruit salad and some herbal notes combine to give a flavoursome palate with a clean crisp finish. Great as an aperitif or with seafood of your choice.
