More medium bodied than previous vintages, Pinot-like winemaking techniques have given us a very different style of Shiraz than past vintages.
The palate is textured yet fine, then finishes dry and savoury, a direct result of wild ferments with turbid juices.
Lovely lifted Chardonnay aromatics of stone fruit and citrus dominate the nose at this early stage. The palate shows nectarine, lime, lemon and subtle cherry fruits from the Pinot Noir addition.
The nose shows fragrant lychee, lime, lemon grass and stone fruit. The lychee notes and white nectarine provide a burst of flavour on the palate.
This Cabernet Merlot is very aromatic, showing mulberry, plum and cassis together with dark chocolate notes.
This is our first 100% Cabernet Sauvignon under the Flametree label. The nose is typically aromatic, showing mulberry, redcurrants and chocolate notes.
