Flametree Rose 2009
Most of the fruit for this wine was crushed, chilled and given 10-12 hours skin contact before pressing. The clear juice was then fermented cold with a natural yeast.
Fresh berries in the cherry, red currant and strawberry spectrum dominate the nose and palate of this wine. A great, fresh style with a crisp finish that can be served with or without food. Best served slightly chilled.
70% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Drink now or cellar up to 12 months.
