Flametree Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
2008 is a classic Margaret River vintage, producing wonderfully structured and textured wines. The fruit used for the creation of this wine was sourced from Karridale and Willyabrup. This wine was left on skins for 3 weeks after fermentation before being pressed and matured in French oak for 18 months. This represents the best 10 barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Flametree winery in a given vintage year.
This wine has all the hallmark characteristics that have made the region so famous. Perfume, structure and elegance are combined to produce a lovely fruit driven wine showing cassis, blackberries and dark chocolate. The palate is fine and long.
